Simply brilliant – WMB vehicle cooling fans

The vehicle cooling fan replaces the missing air stream during performance tests and driving simulations with motor vehicles on roller test benches. The air flow generated is blown onto the vehicle radiator under the vehicle, e.g. via a low, wide, air outlet duct (optionally through a separately available outlet guard). This maintains the engine temperature of the tested vehicles at normal driving operation level. The heat that builds up under the vehicles is inevitably blown off. This prevents damage to the corrosion protection of the body floor assembly and overheating of drive units and tyres.
